William Edward Binney. Former highly placed intelligence official with the United States National Security Agency. He retired on Oct 31 2001 after more than 30 years with the agency. Binney turned whistleblower and was a high profile critic of his former employers during the George W. Bush administration. He has criticized the NSA’s data collection policies during the Barack H. Obama administration. He states that the US intelligence communities assessment that Russia interfered with the 2016 presidential election was false.
Robert Caron. Worked for the CIA and the US Treasury Department (specifics not disclosed). He was Technology facilitator liaison and Political Liaison for multiple agencies. He worked first as a consultant and then later as the president and CEO of three different telecommunications companies that were owned by the Bush and Baker family’s. He also worked in private high profile surveillance (details not disclosed).
Post 911, the NSA used An extensive national surveillance program based on another program called Trail Blazer to illegally spy on US citizens private communications instead of using a recommended program called Thin Thread that would have protected the rights of US citizens. Unable to stay at the NSA any longer in good conscience, Wiebe, Binney and colleague Loomis all retired in Oct 2001 citing “the Agency is building illegal mass surveillance networks”. After retirement they have made several key public disclosures regarding NSA’s massive surveillance program subverting the US Constitution.
